Long time no hear

Hi you all
It´s been a while since I was on the blog last - way to long. But it sure is great getting back and seing all the contributions you guys made building this blog. I´m defently going to spend more time in here and hopefully get to now you all way better than I do.
My trading were really down over the summer but now I´m getting back in the game again and man it makes life much more funny being a momentum trader.

I also want you guys to know, if anyone is interested, that I have some tickets left for UPW in feb 2008. Seats are in the emeralds concourse up front. The prices are 5200 danish krones which is around 465£ sterling or 690 euros. I also have made some reservations at Ibis London Dockands, 10 min from excel if that is of interest with the ticket.

My challenge

Well in between some trades and watching the markets I set myself up for a challenge. I cycled from Mizen Head to Malin Head in Ireland. About 600miles. It was for the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind and was one of the mode rewarding things I have ever done. I got to finish on a tandem with a visually impaired guy on the back which was just a humbling experience. I am proud of myself and used all my mental strenth to finish every mile every day.
Ever day was started with Today is my favourite day!

Momentum Trading is Magic!

My first trade was with a stock called Resolution which I bought for £6.2488 per share at 4:01 on 2nd of April. The stock was at £6.60 on Friday the (13th) which would have netted me 35 pence or 5.6% per share! Not bad for 11 days! That would have annulaised at 187%.

But for the fact that I had sold it at 12:50 the day before for £6.41625 per share.....loosing £3 after paying £25 on dealing charges, stamp duty etc!!! First rule set a price to sell and stick by it.

I also found a share on the 8th of April called Yougov. Which went up 15% the next day! Although I missed the opportunity on this occasion this has given me massive confidence to know what I'm doing is finding the nuggets!!!

Glastonbury

I've just returned from Glastonbury! I spent 3 days at Abbey house which gave me special access to the old Abbey ruins. The energy levels were huge especially where the High Altar used to be.

I climbed the Tor 3 times, once at sunrise (6 am), visited the area where King Arthur is meant too have been buried and learnt what I needed to learn. I shall publish some pictures of my adventures soon.

I had a dream!

I woke up this morning remembering two things from my dreams. The words Skytrack and Skytalk. I wondered whether this was some business idea I needed to protect so added TM too the two phrases.

When I searched “Skytrack” on Google I found that it related to an electronic surveillance system that can be placed in vehicles!

“Skytalk” related to the governments announcement, “today”, that talking cameras will be installed in 12 metropolitan areas.

“The best way to predict the future is to have control of the present!”

So you don’t get caught out by Elma Fudd (G Brown) its ISA season.

Buy your Maxi share isa now for this tax year asap. Remember as soon as the tax year is over you cannot go back and invest money in a previous ISA.

Hence, my suggestion is even if you don’t have much money now, open an ISA and deposit say £1000. Then when you have more money next tax year say £7k, you can open another ISA and you will have £8k straight awaiting your instructions.

Some brokers to consider for your ISA:

Etrade –
ISA charge £2.5/mth, £8-95 per trade. But they have a special trading offer of £4.95 on for limited time. They only allow UK stocks to be traded.

Hoodless Brennan
£50 an. Mgt fee.
£7 per trade fee. Plus there is some US stocks that can be traded within it.

Self –trade
£25 mgt fee. £12.50 trading fee. Plus there is some US stocks that can be traded within it.
I can recommend this broker from experience but feel the trading fees are too high compared to the competition. Plus they have a great system of sending SMS for all account alerts. Don’t know of any other broker who offers this.

Thought I would share one of my trades - BAY (British Airways) I've sold short at 490 with a target price of 440 and a stop loss of 506. So help me out here - lets all watch BAY price go all the way to 440.

does anyone else have a view on this trade by the way?

I have had lots of learnings so far with trading and am applying those learnings to succeed.

One lesson is about moving stop losses up to protect profits - vital! and also take some profits - just like Chuck said!!

Remember from April I am going to do £10,000 per month. It starts here!

Peer Group 137 - You guys rock! I'm listening to "Get the Edge" by our very own Anthony Robbins. I believe that we all have a little of him in us after WM. It has helped me keep the momentum going on a daily basis and you learn a lot about YOURSELF... I'm paying my deposit for Advanced Wealth Mastery this week so will be taking part in the conference calls with Chuck and AJ Monte. I plan on trading in May so you can keep me to that. "You gotta be in the game to win"...just one step at a time...one step... To be honest I'm scared senseless but I'm taking all that fear, rolling it up in a ball and using it as a source of energy so WHIP IT ON! ...I'll be asking for some hand holding along the way :) My heart is really set on going to Date with Destiny, my mind is focused on Dec 2007 Arizona. Good morning! and what a beautiful day it is today in the UK!!!!

Rich you are a star for setting this up and I am sorry I have taken my time to join, but here I am now and looking to share my learnings (lots of those) and successes too!

Rich you told us you will have £1,000,000 by January next year and I believe you.

My plan is £10,000 per month from trading from April this year.

Last week I watched a dvd - The Secret - which tells about the power of the law of attraction. If you want something, ask for it, believe in it, make it real and act as it has already happened. Visualise it and build a picture board of what it is like. Then you will attract all that you need to make it happen. Simple.

So, since I watched this dvd, I started to visualise my goal of £10,000 per month from trading and guess what - things started showing up to help me - I found a great trading book I bought a while back and started reading it. Then Rich emailed us with his stock tips - and we had the email about the iwenttowealthmastery.com site with loads of good stuff to help. Three things that will help me achieve this goal.

You can get the dvd from thesecret.com - well worth watching by the way!

So, I will also keep my progress up to date - Rich - lets do this! Who else has a goal to share with everyone else?

Hey Guys and Girls!

I have just moved house and consequently taken my finger off the pulse!!!

It seems as if we've become the Wealth Mastery 10% group instead of "Whip it on 100%!".

I think a few of you got the jittters when during Wealth and for perhaps a week after the markets fell. My advice to you is ignore the markets.....you are not investing in the markets you are investing in momentum companies!!!!

No matter what the market conditions there is money to be made! George Soros made £1,000,000,000 the day the market when into freefall in the late 80's. The market has made back most of its losses!!!!!

The market is just emotion!

So start looking at those charts, pick a company and do a trade (a small one if your just getting your confidence up!)....but do it.

Once you've done the first one, the second, third etc are easssssssssssy!!! I've done hundreds and am always grateful I made that first step.

Creating Momentum

Hi all

I have noticed there are now a few different forums to discuss WM and other AR stuff including this thread.

I am happy to keep posting here but to be honest disappointed in the lack of posts here :(.

I was hoping more people would be posting from new starters to experienced investors. This will help us learn from each other and to move forward. I posted some suggested stocks I had been watching earlier but got little feedback or discussion on this.

So go on let’s all keep posting and create some momentum together and share ideas, discuss strategies etc.

REAL GAMES START NOW

Right got me trading account setup in my own name, but i do trade in other family members accounts (hehe).

Right been watching the market (UK) closely and realy getting back into trading as i used to do so back in 2005.

I missed an excellent opportunity in buying Man Group (EMG) at 490 last week.I had cash
waiting to invest, but 2 brokers wanted my signature before opening an account on-line. Only found out in the evening that i could have tried sharecrazy!. Would have made a decent 50p/sahre if i bought and held on till today when share price hit 540 ! Dam! Never mind there will be a next time.
I would be interested in anyones views on what they can find as a good channeling stock with the FTSE 100 (or 250)??? I have been watching Vedanta (Ved) and Barclays (BARC) and XSTRATA . I dont see any buying opps in these yet, but watch them very closely.

Any suggestions, tips, etc please share.

Someone enlighten me please.

I've just got this blog thing sussed (I think). I was a member of group 13 at WM. I've been reading my manual over the weekend, it has lots of very good and useful info! Also I've organised my 'security bucket'. I have opened an account with etrade and am just waiting for my welcome pack from them. I've been looking at telechart stuff too and trying to get familar with the whole thing. Its all new to me but I'm mad to get going on it.
Another thing I did last year, (got the idea from a Jim Rohn cd) was to simply change the way I pay my mortgage. I simply pat it every week instead of every month. Just divide your monthly payment in four, and pay this new amount each week. This has a double benefit, firstly it pays off more principal than the monthly payment, and also it means that you pay the equivalent of 13 months payments each year. These combined will knock years off the mortgage, saving you close to the original price of the house. ( My mortgage is 110k and I calculated I will save 90k. I think I'm right about this) One of my goals is to be mortgage free by end 2010.
Its great to have this facility to keep in touch.

Great effort in getting this blog set up and in keeping the emails going, many thanks.

I have gobe back into trading after a 1.5 yr break (another story why).

I am cautious and try to read charts with a different perspective after WM. I currently do UK stocks and just opening a new account with etrade.

I like the channeling idea and with the current market volatility there can be some momentum bargains to be had. Not sure if this blog we can share the stock names??? or is taken as advice & restricted?

Well done all and especially Richard. I think Peer Group 137 is great! ...it's going to be great over the coming months to see how we all get on. I sense we are a fantastic mix ...so we should be able to give great support to one another. I'm like you Vero ...doing all the ground work with telechart to get myself prepared ...Hey aren't the training videos good! I have got my ETrade account set up and just waiting for some funds to arrive in the account so I can start trading. I am tracking a few companies at the moment. Utube and Google look interesting prospects for channelling.

As a group we WILL become some of the World's Greatest Investors. I am also planning on having a hit single with some of the music I produce ...so watch this space! we said end of April first trade ! That will do me.

Iam on Telechart everyother day, when Iam not reading the times or else......
Iam basically in the ''incubation period'' where I immerse myself minimum half our a day of anything to do with stock market.
Iam learning how to use the ''left part of my brain....shall we say.....''
The Channeling method is what speaks to me big time.

Iam just batteling with the interface of the trading platform. if someone has a clue, you will be most welcome to shed a light on the matter !
There is a real ''simulator on Cybertrader.com.
but you do not know where to put your stop loss and your limit order.......
a bit confusing all this.
has anyone actually trade yet ? and if yes, is it easy to find the stop loss and the limit order ?

a learning curve that is... exciting, but painfully slow..... oh i guess we will reap big rewards.! That is my intention anyway !

Thanks for your kind comments. I learn off of you, you learn off of me and we all learn off of each other. I feel more "connected" now than at any period in my life! In fact I'm so connected that my wife asked tonight to go to UPW in June! She has never been interested in my path to self-development. In fact she was so anti it a few weeks ago she told me to f*** off when I mentioned to her that she should not fret and worry because "Life is a Self Fulfilling Prophesy". If she contnued to worry, worry would come her way.

I know what Tony means when he says "Awaken the Giant within!" My giant is waking up! For 18 years I struggled to deal with stress in my life and thought it was because I was doing too much! I thought as I was "doing too much", I was getting headaches. I nearly gave up on my dreams for a quiet life! But I always had a thought in the back of my mind....I don't know if I was the first one to think of this thought or I read it some place:

"I would rather live a single day as a lion, than a lifetime as a sheep!"

I am now "doing" far more than i've ever done but am not getting head aches! Work that one out? I'm living every day as a dream...do I get problems..."Hell Yeh!" but instead of bringing me down those days become my most inspirational days!
